Een educatief vierluik met seizoensingrediënten Bongobos Herfst is de eerste app van een ambitieus vierluik, dat vaardigheden en creativiteit bij kleuters wil stimuleren. In het vrolijke 3D-woud lopen verhaal en spel naadloos in elkaar over. De bosbewoners gidsen de kinderen met spelletjes, verhalen en muziek doorheen de vier seizoenen. Illustrator Frieda Van Raevels tekende voor het artwork, Ianka Fleerackers leende haar stem aan het verhaal.

Big Bad ‘Woolfe’: in for the win. Happy days and champagne at the GriN headquarters! The project we submitted for the VAF (Vlaams Audiovisueel Fonds) Gamefund was granted a “Go!”. Our horror fairytale “Woolfe” was very well received by the judges, so… we popped a bottle or two to celebrate the joyful news. January 25-27, 2013 @ Designcenter De Winkelhaak Bringing together the worlds game developers! Goal is to come together and make a video game, or non-digital game like board game or card game. Participants rapidly prototype game designs and hopefully inject new ideas to help grow the game industry. We share a common theme and constraints. GriN gave two presentations at the GameHUB closing event. After 2 years, GameHUB combined the research results of PHL, UHasselt, KHLim and Groep T (several of Belgium’s leading educational institutes). We were in invited to get a booth at Frag-o-Matic, the largest LAN game event in Belgium. This time there was room for 800 gamers. For us this was a good oppertunity to push our own limits by getting the BETA version of a game done we’ve been working on in secret for the last few months. The C-Mine Game Jam was great! We are proud to have organised another succesfull Game Jam. This time in the soon-to-be game incubator building of C-Mine in Genk (Belgium). 4 teams spent 48 hours building games about on central theme: ENERGY. After a nice workshop by Nick Marien about tips & trick for rapidly creating concept art for games, 3 speakers from the games industy and a technological research institute inspired the participants and shared the Game Jam theme.
